the beef brisket looks rather pale… usually what we get here is in darker color after being “braised” ^_^

the wantan mee ok nia. the shui kau also. not really that good and not really that bad. so so. and the wantan mee is RM3! expensive! LOL.

beef briskets not so popular here in Msia huh?

its the strong beef flavour that gives the bowl of noodles such pleasant, lingering aroma.

the char siew looks kinda bad though.

The uncle’s stall is one of my favourite but tstill not the best.
The nhau lam is teasty and verey very tender, but the want tan noodle needs to be changed lah!

The ngau lam can be enjoyed on its own or with the the noodles. The uncle don’t like to sell the ngau lan seperately, as Gill found out. But I am a regular, thus I have my purks!

Very informative abt the Ngau Lam Mee, sure to try it out next time. The last time I had wantan mee beef noodles were at Jalan Alor KL. The one in your pictures looks very good.

I am first one to leave comment, yes. The Gao Lam Mee is different from the usual stall outside. The taste is lighter but the sweetness and freshness of the meat is still in. Nice
