It is indeed an irresistible place to be. First thing is the food, Malai Chong is very creative and the food he cooked are really delicious and he is very friendly too. Another point is that the owner Mr. and Mrs. Ong are both very sociable. They really know how to take care of customers feeling. Sometimes I even waited for 45min on the good food but they do check back on you every few minutes. This is really a thumbs-up place to be.

You never regretted knowing this place right? Everything is so personal there and you feel so at home.

Malai Chong is one of the best names for chefs I’ve heard in a while! He certainly looks like he can cook up quite a storm. Even the ordinary sounding Sweet n Sour chicken looks out of this world!

With so many years of culinary experience, he’s one great cookery master indeed.

REALLY creative, the stuffed mushroom and capsicum looks yummy! I am sure the experienced chef has really add into creativity in his cooking, must give a try one day! Cool recommendation, Criz!

No prob QL. But I guessed it has to be before end of next week or after the first few days of CNY as they are already fully booked.

that’s a rather good find. you know what?
first glance at the title and 1st pic, I tot another outlet that sells dishes cooked with tea leaves, like Purple Cane.

but with that much exp working overseas and locally, that’s definitely another outlet to look forward to.

There are certainly some tea houses around Penang area moving towards combining drinking tea with meals. Not all of them are as successful this one.
